Road accident blocks travel between Eiði and Gjógv in Faroe Islands

A traffic accident has closed the route between Eiði and Gjógv in the Faroe Islands’ northern region, Faroese public broadcaster KVF reported Tuesday.

No injuries were reported, but emergency crews were forced to clear debris from the road before traffic could resume, according to police. The incident occurred near Funningur.
