Russia launches major drone and missile strikes on Ukraine overnight
Russia carried out large-scale attacks using drones and ballistic missiles against Ukraine early Tuesday, killing at least seven people, according to reports by Swedish public broadcaster SVT and Ukrainian media.
Explosions were first reported in the capital Kyiv, where air raid sirens were activated shortly afterward, the Kyiv Independent said. At least three people died in Kyiv, while four others were killed in the city of Dnipro.
Denmark’s new coalition government prioritizes people and animal welfare
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced Tuesday that her Social Democratic party has formed a coalition government with the Socialist People’s Party, Radikale Venstre, and Moderaterne.
