danish public broadcaster asks what people love most about denmark

A new campaign by Denmark’s national broadcaster DR is inviting the public to share what they consider the best thing about the country, the broadcaster announced Monday.

The initiative, titled “Hvad er det bedste ved Danmark?” (“What is the best thing about Denmark?”), encourages Danes to submit personal reflections through video, text, or audio. Selected contributions will be featured across DR’s television, radio, and online platforms throughout June.

“This is about capturing the everyday moments and values that make Denmark special to those who live here,” a DR spokesperson said in a statement. The campaign follows no set theme, leaving participants to define what matters most—whether cultural, social, or personal.

Submissions can be made via DR’s website or social media channels until June 20. A curated selection will air in a special broadcast later this summer.
