Three people have been remanded in custody for four weeks in the Faroe Islands’ largest cocaine trafficking case to date, public broadcaster KVF reports.

The two men, aged 22 and 23, and a 19-year-old woman are accused of smuggling at least five kilograms of cocaine into the Faroe Islands and selling the majority of it locally. According to the charges, they imported the drugs between September last year and April 16, 2026, working together or with accomplices in Denmark and possibly the Faroe Islands.

Prosecutors allege the group sold 4,437 grams of the cocaine in the Faroe Islands, while police seized an additional 666 grams. A pretrial hearing was held behind closed doors.
