Two foreign men were arrested in Streymnes on Wednesday night after allegedly violating fencing laws during a seal cull, Faroese public broadcaster KVF reports.

The men entered the culling area, which local authorities had cordoned off, according to district officer Høgni Djurhuus. They face fines but remain in police custody pending processing.

In the capital Tórshavn, two or three women were reported for disrupting a separate cull in Sandagerði, though no arrests were made. Police confirmed the incidents are unrelated.
