Danish influencer defends extreme cosmetic procedures as “worth any cost”

A debate on Danish public radio’s P1 Debat saw influencer Viktor Vejleskov argue that he would pursue cosmetic enhancements “at any price,” while fellow influencer Mette Sommer criticized the trend as superficial and potentially harmful to young people, DR reports.

Vejleskov, appearing alongside Sommer on the program hosted by Gitte Hansen, openly embraced looksmaxxing—a term for aggressive aesthetic modifications—without reservation. Sommer countered that the obsession with physical perfection risks damaging young people’s self-image.
