Finland’s labour minister has asked central labour market organisations and authorities to establish clear protocols for workplaces in the event of drone-related emergency warnings, public broadcaster Yle reports.
Minister of Labour Matias Marttinen requested the joint guidelines be developed within the coming weeks, following discussions between labour market representatives and officials on Tuesday about the impact of such alerts on working life.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment stated that legislative amendments may also be proposed if deemed necessary. No further details on potential changes were provided.
