Grenade discovered in Turku prompts emergency response from police and Defense Forces

On Monday around 10 AM, emergency services in Turku received a report regarding a World War-era grenade. According to the police, such munitions can still pose significant danger, potentially affecting areas up to several dozen meters away. The police have cordoned off the region, and the Defense Forces are on site to safely remove the grenade. The Southwest Finland police provided this information via social media earlier in the day.
