Police have not specified the exact number of devices recovered but described the situation as a direct response to “ongoing threats” tied to organized crime.

The measures mirror those previously implemented in other Danish cities facing similar gang-related violence, according to local accounts. “Now it’s just reached Herning,” one resident told DR, referencing the spread of urban conflict beyond major metropolitan areas.
