A flea market in Helsinki’s Kumpula district was interrupted Saturday when a swarm of honeybees descended on the event, drawing crowds of onlookers, Finnish broadcaster Yle reports.
Emergency services and local beekeeper Auli Kontinen were called to the scene. Kontinen is currently capturing the bees in a box to prevent them from nesting in unsuitable locations, such as chimneys.
The bees have been identified as domestic honeybees.
