Earthquake measuring 3.9 hits Denmark, residents feel tremors
A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck Denmark on Wednesday, according to the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (Geus). The tremor was felt by residents, including DR journalist Rikke Stokholm Qvist Rasmussen, who was resting on her sofa when the shaking began and quickly moved to her balcony to see if others had noticed, she told DR.
Rikke had the day off and was lying with her legs up on the sofa when the tremors arrived, she said. She then hurried to her balcony to check whether anyone else had felt the same shaking.
