One man detained in Rauma homicide case, another released after questioning

Southwest Finland police have detained a man on suspicion of involvement in a homicide in Rauma, Yle reports. Another man initially taken into custody has been released after questioning and denies any connection to the case.

The detained suspect, born in 1962, is the victim’s common-law spouse. He was remanded on probable cause and denies committing the crime.

The case involves a woman found dead on Saturday in a flat on Nortamonkatu in Rauma.
