Man in his 60s dies after riding mower accident in Molde

A man in his 60s has died following an accident involving a ride-on lawnmower in Molde, local police confirmed on Friday, Dagbladet reports.

The incident occurred when the mower overturned, trapping the man underneath, according to Arild Even Reite, operations manager for Møre og Romsdal police district. Emergency services responded, but the victim later died in hospital. His next of kin have been notified.

Police described the incident as an accident. “There is nothing to suggest otherwise at this stage,” operations manager Ragnvald Knut Rasmussen told Dagbladet.
