Faroe Islands and Greenland negotiate new fisheries cooperation agreement
The Faroese government’s foreign affairs committee will meet on Monday to discuss a proposed new framework agreement on fisheries cooperation with Greenland, Kringvarp Føroya reports.
Fisheries Minister Bárður á Steig Nielsen is scheduled to present the draft agreement to the committee. The current framework agreement between the two nations has been in place since 1997.
The meeting began at 9 AM local time.
