Swedish left-wing leader Nooshi Dadgostar confronts host over personal attacks in TV show

Sweden’s Left Party leader Nooshi Dadgostar was visibly frustrated during an appearance on SVT’s Fördomsshowen (The Prejudice Show), where host Emil Persson repeatedly accused her of laziness and being a “slacker trapped in a careerist’s high-intensity life,” reports public broadcaster SVT.

Among the claims, Persson suggested Dadgostar had visited Pisa without bothering to see the Leaning Tower, that her partner sometimes pushed her in a wheelchair at airports, and that she had skipped Bad Bunny’s widely discussed Super Bowl halftime show. The remarks prompted a sharp response from the politician.

“You’re sick in the head. What’s happened to you?” Dadgostar said during the program. “Your approach here is completely wrong. It’s insane.”
