Two men remanded in custody for four more weeks over arson and violent robbery

Two men accused of aggravated assault, arson, and robbery will remain in pre-trial detention for another four weeks, Kringvarp Føroya reports. One suspect voluntarily agreed to the extension during a court hearing.

The alleged crimes took place in a residential building in central Tórshavn on the evening of 18 February. According to investigators, the victim was subjected to severe violence in their own home, and a fire was deliberately set while the victim was present. Both suspects have reportedly admitted partial guilt.
