The housing blocks 4, 6, and 8 at Eirargarði in Havn, Faroe Islands, are in such poor condition that they cannot be restored, according to a report by Kringvarp Føroya.

Landsverk, the Faroese public works authority, has recommended demolishing the blocks and finding a new solution for the housing needs of staff at Landssjúkrahúsið, the national hospital. The hospital director has warned that maintenance issues of this scale are unprecedented in the hospital’s facilities.
