Norwegian singer Rein Alexander and partner Marie Aadalen separate after ten years

Norwegian singer Rein Alexander (54) and his partner Marie Aadalen (32) have ended their decade-long relationship, Se og Hør reports.

“We are separating as best friends, and we care deeply for each other,” Alexander told the magazine. “But life has taken us in different directions.”

The couple confirmed the split after gradually growing apart, with Alexander citing differing lifestyles as a key factor. “Marie has earned a great education, a new job, and a social circle in Oslo, while I love country life and don’t want to live in the capital,” he said.

Alexander, known for his interpretations of classic songs, rose to fame after winning NRK’s talent competition Kjempesjansen in 2003. His self-titled debut album achieved double platinum status in Norway.
