Danish football fan gets championship tattoo to celebrate historic league win

A lifelong fan of Danish club AGF has marked the team’s first league title in 40 years with a permanent tattoo, despite his mother’s reservations, reports DR.

The 18-year-old, named Mikkel, chose to commemorate AGF’s Superliga championship win by getting the victory inked on his body. He described the tattoo as “badass” and plans to show it off on Sunday when the team officially lifts the trophy.

AGF secured the Danish Superliga title this season, ending a four-decade wait for the club’s supporters.
