Faroe Islands seeks up to 1,500 volunteers for 2027 island games

The Faroese Sports Association has launched its largest recruitment drive yet, calling for between 1,200 and 1,500 volunteers to support the 2027 Island Games, Kringvarp Føroya reports.

Registration is now open for those wishing to contribute to the event, which will take place from 3 to 9 July 2027. Organisers describe strong early interest in volunteer roles.
