Telia completes restructuring talks with over 50 jobs cut

Telia’s restructuring negotiations for its consumer business, launched in April, have concluded with 53 positions eliminated, the company announced on Tuesday.

An additional 35 new roles will be created, according to a statement from the telecommunications firm. The talks covered a total of 806 positions, with initial estimates suggesting up to 90 jobs could be cut.

The changes, part of Telia’s plan to simplify its operations and reorganise its structure, will take effect in early June.
