Faroese health college offers part-time courses in Tórshavn for healthcare workers
The Faroese Health College in Suðuroy is launching a pilot programme allowing healthcare workers to complete part of their studies in the capital Tórshavn, Kringvarp Føroya reports.
Two courses—one for healthcare assistants and one for healthcare practitioners—will be offered under the trial scheme. While a significant portion of instruction will take place in Tórshavn, students will still need to travel to Suðuroy for some components.
Vivie Davidsen, the college principal, stated that the initiative is still experimental, and no decision has been made on whether it will continue.
