Faroese health college offers part-time courses in Tórshavn for healthcare workers
The Faroese Health College in Suðuroy is launching a pilot programme allowing healthcare workers to complete part of their studies in Tórshavn, the national broadcaster Kringvarp Føroya reports.
Applications are now open for two courses—one for healthcare assistants and another for healthcare practitioners—where a portion of the instruction will take place in the capital. However, students will still need to travel to Suðuroy for parts of the training.
Vivie Davidsen, the college’s principal, stated that the programme is still experimental and that no decision has been made on whether it will continue.
