The Faroese Education Directorate noted her relevant experience in supervision and leadership, as well as her training in leadership development.

Two applications were submitted for the headteacher position at Fossánes. The school, which serves grades one through seven, will have 39 students enrolled for the upcoming academic year. There are five full-time positions at the school.
