Finland’s Eurovision duo debuts stage rehearsals in Vienna
Finland’s Eurovision Song Contest representatives, Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen, held their first stage rehearsal in Vienna on Saturday, reports Finnish broadcaster Yle.
The pair, considered early favourites by bookmakers, tested their performance setup—complete with fire effects and wind machines—at Wiener Stadthalle ahead of the contest’s first semi-final on 12 May.
Costume updates were also unveiled during the rehearsal. Lampenius’s outfit now features sheer elements, with a strass-mesh corset and sparkling tulle, paired with long silver boots. Parkkonen’s look includes a translucent silk-sifon shirt and trousers with a higher waist and wider legs than previously seen. The designs are by fashion designer Teemu Muurimäki, with Parkkonen’s outfit crafted by tailor Elviira Medel and Lampenius’s by Yle seamstress Jaana Björklund.
Finland will compete in the first semi-final on 12 May, with the Eurovision final set for 16 May. All performances will be broadcast on Yle’s channels and online platforms.
