Emergency alert issued after toxic smoke from residential fire in Ringsted

Midt- og Vestsjællands Police have issued an emergency alert due to a residential fire at Næstvedvej 13 in Ringsted, warning that smoke from the blaze is hazardous to health if inhaled.

The warning applies to residents in areas near Balstrupvej, Egevej, Blåbærvænget, Snebærvænget, Solbærvænget, HP Hansensvej, Bavnagervej, and Dyssegårdsvej. Authorities urge those affected to stay indoors, close all doors and windows, and turn off ventilation systems. Residents are also asked to share the alert with others in the area when possible.
