Multiple motorcycles involved in E6 crash near Oslo

All lanes of the E6 motorway heading into Oslo have been closed at Furuset following a multi-motorcycle collision, Dagbladet reports.

Emergency services responded to the incident after receiving reports at 12:33 PM. Operations manager Guro Sandnes confirmed multiple motorcycles were involved but stated none of the riders appeared to be in critical condition as of 12:44 PM.

“We have now removed all riders from the roadway and are working to assess the full extent of the injuries,” Sandnes wrote in the police log.

The crash has caused significant traffic congestion on the inbound lanes toward Oslo, according to live traffic data from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.
