Faroese cheese production expands with new facility in Skálavík
A Faroese dairy producer has increased its cheese production capacity after relocating operations to a larger facility in Skálavík, reports Kringvarp Føroya.
MBM, a local dairy company, has moved its cheese production to the former Lido fish processing plant in Skálavík. The expanded space provides improved conditions for scaling up output and developing new products.
The company’s owner, Kristianna Klein, confirmed the relocation will support growth in Faroese cheese manufacturing.
