Finnish social security agency Kela’s service disruption partially resolved but outages may continue
The technical disruption affecting Finland’s Social Insurance Institution (Kela) services since early Wednesday has been partially resolved, but some outages may persist, the agency announced on Thursday.
Kela stated that the issue began in the early hours of Wednesday morning and has impacted multiple services. Online platforms, including the OmaKela customer portal and phone services, may still experience intermittent disruptions.
On Wednesday, Kela confirmed there was no evidence the outage resulted from a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack. The agency said it is working to restore full functionality as soon as possible.
