Police suspect former rapper was mastermind behind 15-year-old girl’s double murder
Swedish police believe Mohamed “Moewgli” Mohdhi, a senior figure in the criminal network Foxtrot, orchestrated two killings allegedly carried out by a 15-year-old girl within three days, public broadcaster SVT reports.
The 28-year-old, considered second-in-command of Foxtrot after leader Rawa Majid, is suspected of directing multiple recent violent crimes in Sweden, including the murders in Vårby and Malmö. The teenage girl, now in custody, denies involvement.
Mohdhi is wanted by Europol for over ten serious violent and drug-related offences, including the 2023 murder of a 15-year-old boy at a Skogås sushi restaurant. Swedish prosecutors describe him as “highly placed” in Foxtrot, linked to “a large number of serious violent crimes.”
Swedish authorities believe Mohdhi is currently in Tunisia, where five Foxtrot-linked men—including his brother—await trial. Tunisian police briefly detained him recently but released him shortly after. A Swedish delegation, including Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer, plans to visit Tunisia to strengthen cooperation and push for Mohdhi’s arrest.
Foxtrot, already weakened by multiple arrests and Majid’s reported isolation in Iran, has been tied to record seizures of 180 hand grenades in Alingsås, Stockholm, and Malmö, as well as large drug hauls nationwide. Police sources describe Mohdhi as an “instigator” who uses lower-ranking recruits to carry out violent acts.
Mohdhi’s defence lawyer states he denies all charges. SVT’s attempts to reach him have been unsuccessful.
