Motorcyclist injured after collision with van in Nokia

A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a van on Thursday evening in Nokia, southwestern Finland, according to a report by Finnish public broadcaster Yle.

The accident occurred at around 7:07 PM at the intersection of Rajalanraitti and Kuljuntie, where the motorcyclist crossed the centre line on a bend and struck the front of an oncoming van. The rider was taken to hospital for further treatment.

Emergency services responded to the scene, assisting with first aid and clearing the vehicles to await towing. One lane of the road was temporarily closed to traffic during the operation.
