Detached house destroyed in second fire within a week in Sastamala

A detached house in Sastamala, Pirkanmaa, has been destroyed in a fire—just days after the same building caught fire last weekend, reports Finnish public broadcaster Yle.

Emergency services received a call about the blaze on Neulojantie street shortly after 2 a.m. on Thursday. By the time firefighters arrived, the unoccupied 120-square-metre house was fully engulfed in flames.

Authorities are working to contain the fire, and no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire remains unknown.

Fire officials confirmed that the same property had also burned in a separate incident last weekend.
