One critically injured in Oslo apartment fire
A person has been critically injured in an apartment fire in eastern Oslo on Monday evening, Norwegian police report.
Emergency services responded to the blaze in the Stovner district at 8:19 PM, with firefighters quickly launching extinguishing efforts, Dagbladet reports. The fire originated in a bedroom, where responders located the injured individual.
“The injured person is being transported to hospital for further treatment,” operations leader Øyvind Hammervold confirmed in a statement to the press.
No further details about the cause of the fire or the victim’s condition have been released.
