Explosion damages front door of home in Falkenberg
A powerful explosion damaged the front door of a semi-detached house in Falkenberg early Monday morning, Swedish public broadcaster SVT Nyheter reports.
The blast occurred just before 1 a.m. local time, with several family members inside the home at the time. No injuries were reported.
“We received the alert at 00:55, and it appears to have been a fairly powerful bomb. The front door is completely blown apart, but otherwise, there seems to be only possible damage to a vehicle,” said Morten Gunneng, duty officer at the West Region Police.
No arrests have been made, and police have launched a preliminary investigation into the incident as a case of general endangerment through destruction.
