Finnish public broadcaster seeks experiences of misdelivered postal packages
Finnish public broadcaster Yle is investigating reports of postal packages being delivered to incorrect addresses and is seeking firsthand accounts from affected customers.
The broadcaster has received multiple tips suggesting that items sent via Posti, Finland’s national postal service, have not reached their intended recipients. In some cases, customers have received notifications from retailers about delivered packages, only to find items addressed to other individuals in their mailboxes.
Posti has noted a sharp rise in secondhand goods purchases, which has significantly increased package traffic. The company attributes recent delivery errors in part to this surge in volume.
Yle is asking readers who have experienced package mix-ups in recent months to share their stories. Responses can be submitted via an online form or by contacting reporter Janette Leino directly at [email protected]. All submissions will be used only with permission, and contact details will not be shared outside the editorial team.
Data provided will be processed solely by the reporter working on this story.
