A fire at a recycling wood storage site in Laukaa, central Finland, has destroyed machinery and caused heavy smoke, according to local emergency services.
Firefighters received an alert just after 12:30 AM on Friday about the blaze on Akselikatu street, reports Finnish public broadcaster Yle. Crews remained on site early Friday morning, with extinguishing efforts expected to continue until dawn.
