Estonian president to make state visit to Finland
Estonian President Alar Karis and his spouse Sirje Karis will visit Helsinki at the end of April, according to a brief announcement by Finland’s Ministry of the Interior on Thursday.
Finnish state agencies and institutions will fly flags in their honour from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 28–29, as reported by public broadcaster Yle. Further details of the state visit have not yet been disclosed.
Karis and Finnish President Alexander Stubb last met in February 2024 during Stubb’s state visit to Estonia.
