Nordea’s payment services return to normal after disruption

Nordea’s payment systems are operating normally again after technical issues disrupted transactions on Tuesday morning, the bank announced in an email.

The problems began early Tuesday, with customers reporting failures in card payments and cash withdrawals or deposits at ATMs. According to the outage-tracking service Downdetector, issues with Nordea’s online services were first reported around 6 AM.

By mid-morning, Nordea confirmed that all payment services had been restored.
