Winter weather to disrupt Easter return traffic across much of Finland
Finnish public broadcaster Yle reports that drivers returning from Easter holidays should prepare for hazardous road conditions across large parts of the country.
The Finnish Meteorological Institute has issued warnings for deteriorating driving conditions from late Sunday night due to snow or sleet in North Savo, North Karelia, Kainuu, and western parts of North Ostrobothnia.
Fintraffic, Finland’s traffic agency, estimates that the peak of Easter return traffic will occur on Monday between 12:00 and 20:00 local time.
