Sweden’s men’s curling team, led by skip Niklas Edin, secured gold at the world championship with a 9–6 victory over Canada, SVT Nyheter reports.
“We carried a weight on our shoulders this week and wanted to prove we can still play great curling—and I think we did just that, fantastically,” an elated Edin said after the win.
