Convicted pedophile defied court order by approaching victim’s friends

A convicted pedophile repeatedly violated a court-imposed ban by attempting to contact an 11-year-old boy and his friends in a small town in western Zealand, Denmark, reports DR.

The man, who had been prohibited from approaching the child—referred to as “Christian” in the report—persistently cycled through the area for years, seeking contact. According to the investigation, he also reached out to “Gustav,” a friend of the victim, as part of his efforts to maintain access to the boy.

The entire local area became the setting for the man’s pursuit, with his actions forming part of a broader pattern of harassment. The case, titled “Forfulgt af manden på cyklen” (“Pursued by the man on the bicycle”), was documented by journalists Thomas Overgaard and Ida Meesenburg for DR.
