Police respond to health-related incident at Oslo spa hotel
Police deployed multiple patrols to The Well spa hotel south of Oslo on Tuesday after reports of a “threatening situation,” Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet reports.
Operations manager Pål Bjelland of the Øst Police District confirmed to the outlet that officers responded to the scene following a call at 12:55 PM, arriving by 1:11 PM. Authorities classified the incident as health-related but provided no further details. No injuries were reported.
A Dagbladet reporter at the location observed that guests were temporarily restricted from leaving the spa area after the incident. Police remained on-site with several units, though the hotel has not yet responded to media inquiries.
The Well is a high-end spa and wellness resort located in Sofienmyr, approximately 20 kilometers south of central Oslo.
