Danish students launch climate satellite into space

A team of Danish university students has successfully launched their climate-monitoring satellite, DISCO-2, aboard a SpaceX rocket after five years of development, DR reports.

The satellite, designed and built by the students, lifted off from California on Monday. The group described the moment as surreal, watching their project—and their logo—reach orbit.
