Former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau to visit Finland in June

Justin Trudeau, who served as Canada’s prime minister from 2015 to 2025, will attend Finland’s Suomi Areena discussion forum in Pori this June, organisers announced on Wednesday.

Trudeau is listed as the event’s keynote speaker and is expected to address recent developments in international politics as well as cooperation among northern nations, according to a press release.

The visit will mark his first trip to Finland, as he did not travel to the country during his decade in office.
