Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences to add over 1,000 new study places next autumn
Finnish higher education institutions will offer 1,095 additional study places starting next autumn, the Ministry of Education and Culture announced on Tuesday.
Science and Culture Minister Mari-Leena Talvitie confirmed the funding decision, which allocates 595 new places to universities and 500 to universities of applied sciences.
Metropolia University of Applied Sciences will receive the highest increase with 110 new places, followed by the University of Turku (100) and Aalto University (97).
