The Norwegian Nobel Committee has released a public overview of its members’ external positions and financial interests, as part of a transparency initiative, Dagbladet reports.

All roles and economic interests held by committee members outside their primary employment—excluding those tied to their main employer—have been disclosed in a report published on the committee’s website. The document covers the 2025/2026 term and is based on self-reported declarations from members and the committee’s secretary.

“This report reflects what has been submitted by the committee’s members and the secretary in their disclosure forms,” the statement reads. It is signed by committee chair Jørgen Watne Frydnes and Kristian Berg Harpviken, director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute.

The internal process of selecting the Nobel Peace Prize laureate remains confidential. Nominations, evaluations, and internal discussions about candidates will continue to be subject to a 50-year secrecy rule.
