Worker dies after workplace accident in Söderhamn municipality

A municipal employee in Söderhamn has died following serious injuries sustained in a workplace accident earlier this week, regional public broadcaster P4 Gävleborg reports.

The man was injured while working outdoors and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the report. He later died from his injuries.

The municipality has filed an official incident report, and police have referred the case to prosecutors for further investigation.
