Swedish doctor Eva Andersson-Dubin denies knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes
Swedish physician Eva Andersson-Dubin, who maintained a long-term relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has denied any awareness of his criminal activities, according to a statement issued through her family’s legal representatives and reported by Swedish public broadcaster SVT Nyheter.
Andersson-Dubin and Epstein were in a relationship during the 1980s and remained in contact until his death in 2019. SVT’s investigative short documentary “Epstein and the Swedish Au Pairs” examined her alleged role in his network, including claims that she helped recruit young Swedish women.
In a written response to SVT—signed by attorneys at the law firm Nordia Law—Andersson-Dubin’s family stated she had “never witnessed, suspected, or had any knowledge of Mr. Epstein’s horrific criminal behavior.” The statement emphasised that she would have severed all ties and reported him to authorities had she been aware of his actions.
The response also clarified that Andersson-Dubin had hired Swedish au pairs—all over 18 and primarily relatives or family friends—to teach her children the language and culture. It denied she had ever assisted Epstein in recruiting staff or employed anyone previously connected to him.
Andersson-Dubin, now married to billionaire Glenn Dubin, has previously testified under oath that she had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes.
