New chairperson to be elected for Pro trade union in Finland

A new chairperson for the trade union Pro will be elected today. The candidates include former Prime Minister Antti Rinne and Maria Mäkynen, who currently serves as the director of public relations for the union. The election will take place during a meeting where representatives from Pro will select the new leader from a list of five contenders. The gathering is scheduled to commence in the afternoon. Pro represents approximately 120,000 members.
