Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has revealed that he has been preparing for a conversation with the incoming U.S. President Donald Trump. Leaders from various countries, including Norway’s Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and Finland’s President Alexander Stubb, have already engaged in phone discussions with the president-elect. Now, Kristersson has also conducted an initial conversation with Trump, which took place on Monday afternoon.

The specific topics that Kristersson chose to discuss with Trump remain undisclosed. However, he has previously highlighted three significant risks associated with the forthcoming presidency, one of which is the U.S.’s future support for Ukraine.
